If you have a Jarvis Desk (made by Fully or Herman Miller), an Uplift Desk, a NextDesk/XDesk, or a Branch desk, Tempo is directly compatible! Otherwise, you may need to use the free included cable adapter. Just double check that your current handset is connected with what looks like an ethernet connector.

Here's what those connectors look like:

 

You may have to get under your desk to be sure. Note that these connectors can have many different styles of outer casing (black plastic in the above example), and that's ok! The important part is the connector itself (typically clear plastic as in the above example).
