If your current handset is connected with what looks like an ethernet connector, you're good to go!
Here's what those connectors look like:
You may have to get under your desk to be sure. Note that these connectors can have many different styles of outer casing (black plastic in the above example), and that's ok! The important part is the connector itself (typically clear plastic as in the above example).
